Jeff Wiesen was born in Chappaqua, New York and was shortly whisked off to the Bay Area at the age of 4 when American Express decided that New York was too cold for Lawrence Wiesen and his family. He spent the next 15 years of his life being told that he had ADD and trying desperately to get his 2 older brothers, David and Eric, to include him in any and all games.
In a desperate effort to channel his energy, Jeff began doing musical theater, his goal being to act in every single musical ever written. He came close, appearing in over 30 plays before graduating high school. During high school, Jeff directed "Pippin" and "Blood Brothers", both of which were produced by his older brother, Eric. He also appeared in the motion picture "Jack", along with several industrials and a voiceover CD-ROM video game, "Rockett's First Day of School".
Jeff applied to several prestigious acting universities and was accepted to Northwestern, UCLA, and NYU's Tisch school, to name a few. He chose to go to UCLA, where he appeared in over 15 productions over 4 years in the music, theater and film departments. In addition to his rigorous UCLA schedule, Jeff found time to direct 2 more shows in the Bay Area, "Secret Garden" and "Sweeney Todd". During Jeff's sophomore year, he became involved with his current repertory company, The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum.
